For today’s post I have decided to write a review on the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in the shade Nude-ist. I’ve seen quite a few reviews on this lipstick from Bourjois and they have been mostly very positive so I gave in and bought one for myself. mac spirit review

This lipstick is actually my first MAC purchase. I had obviously heard loads about MAC by reading other blogs but I’ve always thought that £15.50 for a lipstick was a little expensive. I eventually gave in after reading countless good reviews and I am so glad that I did! The shade I went for was a pinky brown shade called Spirit. I think because I am quite pale it looks more brown on me, but it would look pinker on darker skin tones. View Full Post

blogging, bad beauty habits

Today I thought I’d write a post on my bad habits when it comes to beauty. I know that many of these things are really bad, but for some reason I can’t seem to change! Maybe writing them down will force me to confront my habits… Anyway here they are:

#1 Not removing my makeup before going to bed. I know this is so bad and I ALWAYS do it if I have eye makeup on, but if I’m just wearing a bit of foundation I can be a bit lazy and just sleep with it on.

#2 Not taking off chipped nail varnish. I love painting my nails, but I don’t love removing the nail varnish. This means I always keep it on for much too long and it just looks terrible. I sometimes paint over the chipped bits, but that doesn’t look much better. View Full Post
