My Daily Makeup Products + Total Cost

My Daily Makeup + Total Cost

After nearly a year of beauty blogging I’ve realised that I have never actually mentioned which makeup items I use on a daily basis. I do change my mind quite a lot and get bored with products more often than I should, but these are the items I’m currently using and the total cost.

Foundation- Illamasqua Skin Base £32.50

I treated myself to this for my birthday and I’m still undecided on whether I like it or not. Some days it seems to look better than others, but for £32.50 I am persevering with it. I’m going to write a full post on this soon as part of my “Help I Gave Into The Hype” series.

Stippling Brush- Zoeva 125 £11.50

A good brush is important to get the best out of a foundation and this one by Zoeva is perfect. It’s easy to use and not too expensive either!

Blusher- Max Factor Cream Puff Blush £8.99

These have been mentioned as dupes for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers.  I’ve never tried them, so I can’t comment, but, I do love the Max Factor version. The combination of the different colours and the shimmer create a really pretty look.

Contour Brush- Real Techniques (as part of the Core Collection) £21.99

I have to admit that I’ve been using this to apply my blusher. It probably is better suited to highlighting and contouring, but until I get around to buying a proper blusher brush I’m using this. The brush is really soft and feels lovely to use.

Eyeliner- Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner £7.99

I wrote about this in my “Why I Am A Gel Eyeliner Convert” post. I wouldn’t use any other type of eyeliner now and this one works well!

I know everyone raves about this mascara and it totally deserves the love it gets. It’s the best mascara I’ve ever used and I can’t see myself changing it anytime soon. I wrote about this in my “Help I Gave Into The Hype” post and I said I wasn’t completely in love with it- I’ve changed my mind- I am!

Lipstick- Lord And Berry Twistick £13

This changes daily, but one I have been obsessed with recently is the Lord and Berry Twistick in the shade “Must Have”. I included it in my Top 5 Most Used Lipsticks.

Total Cost= £87.47 (I have divided the cost of the Real Techniques Core Collection by 4 to get the value of the contour brush).

So those are my daily makeup products and the total cost. I am a little surprised at how much I’ve spent, especially as I haven’t included any skincare or primers in the list. Do you use any of these products? How much do you think you spend on your daily makeup?
