Barry M Starry Eyed Palette Review

I have never really tried any non nail related products from Barry M, so I was interested to try one of their eyeshadow palettes. I chose to try ‘Starry Eyed’ because the packaging was a really nice purple colour and the eyeshadow shades were different to colours I already own. The palette is also limited edition.

The eyeshadow shades and blush come in cardboard packaging, with a mirror on the inside and two sponge eyeshadow brushes. The shadows come in a range of shimmer and matte tones and are accompanied by a golden pinky/coral blusher.

The colours in this palette are really pretty and could be worn day or night, depending on the combination of shades. As you can see the shades alternate between matte and shimmer, with the largest being the blusher. All of the shades are highly pigmented and in my experience are easy to blend and stay put all day. The palette is also very good value for money, at £6.49. I haven’t actually worn the blusher as I usually wear a cream formula, but the colour looks lovely swatched. All the swatches can be seen below:

I really love all of these shades, the mustard yellow colour makes a great base and used with the brown shades makes a nice everyday look. The shimmer blue and gold shades are perfect for the evening. The blush (far right in the above photo) is a very wearable shade.

Overall I think this palette is great value for money. For £6.49 you get a selection of six colours that are a little bit different as well as a blusher. The shades are very pigmented and can be combined to create lots of different looks.

Overall Rating- 8/10

The Barry M Starry Eyed Shadow and Blush Palette costs £6.49 and can be bought directly from Barry M or online and instore at Superdrug or Boots.
