Korean beauty and skincare has been growing in popularity in the UK for a while now and one of the easiest (and cheapest) ways to try it is through the sheet mask. Basically sheet masks are a cleaner, lazy friendly version of a mud mask. You apply a sheet soaked in serum to your face and leave for around 10-30 minutes. Once the time is up you remove the mask and massage in the remaining serum with no washing required. View Full Post
Help Gave Into the Hype is a series of posts about products I’ve bought because I’ve been convinced by amazing blogger reviews and have absolutely no will power to stop myself. My latest purchase is the Illamasqua Hydra Veil. My previous hype buys were the PIXI Glow Tonic and the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara both of which I really liked, so I had high hopes for the Hydra Veil. It has been around for a while, but if you haven’t heard of it, the Hydra Veil is like a combination of a hydrating skincare product and a primer. View Full Post
After nearly a year of beauty blogging I’ve realised that I have never actually mentioned which makeup items I use on a daily basis. I do change my mind quite a lot and get bored with products more often than I should, but these are the items I’m currently using and the total cost. View Full Post
I’ve recently started a new series on my blog called “Help I Gave Into The Hype”. Today I thought I would share a review of one of my favourite makeup products, the Bourjois Little Round Pot Cream Blush. I wear this every day and it is one of my makeup bag essentials. There are 4 colours available in the collection, 01- Nude Velvet, 02- Healthy Glow, 03- Rose Tender and 04- Sweet Cherry. There are also 2 summer shades 05- Pink Sunwear and 06- Tropical Coral. I own 2 of the shades, 02-Healthy Glow and 03-Rose Tender.
Healthy Glow is a peachy- coral shade, which I think looks great in the summer and it does give a ‘healthy glow’. Rose Tender is a pink shade which gives a lovely lightly flushed look to the cheeks. My favourite is probably Rose Tender as it is very natural looking and I like pink based blush shades. View Full Post
