Time Taken To Write a Blog Post

When I was writing my last post ( My Daily Makeup Products + Total Cost) I thought it might be interesting to time myself and see how long it actually took to write the whole post. I don’t think many non-bloggers realise how much time blogging can take up. Everything from taking photos, to writing and editing, can be time consuming. So here’s a quick break down of how long everything took: View Full Post

Changing My Writing Style- From Scientific Writing to Blog Writing

Before I started this blog I was at University studying for a degree in Forensic Science. After I graduated I had a lot of free time and, being a beauty fan,  I decided to start my own blog. After years of writing in a specific, scientific way, I found (and am still finding) it difficult to write less formally. Rated In Beauty before the blog makeover

Just a quick post today to announce that Rated In Beauty has had a makeover! I was getting a little bored of the layout of my blog and I wanted a change. Getting Started On Pinterest- What I have learnt about Pinterest. Including "should you use a business account?", how to verify your site, pinning from your site, gaining followers and how to find pins.

I’ve always struggled to get into Pinterest. I heard about bloggers getting a lot of traffic from it, but I just couldn’t seem to make it work for me. A couple of weeks ago I decided that I would make an effort and I am now a little bit obsessed! Just to be clear this isn’t going to be an advice post because I am still very new to Pinterest and there are a lot of things I have to learn, but I thought I would share with you what I have learnt so far. Also apologies if any of this seems obvious, but I am aiming this post at complete Pinterest newbies like me! View Full Post
